Welcome to Sanjal! Our goal is to build a safe, respectful, and vibrant community where users can connect across languages. To ensure a positive experience for everyone, all users must strictly adhere to these Community Guidelines.
Important Notice: Sanjal enforces a zero-tolerance policy against abusive content. Users have access to real-time reporting and blocking mechanisms to protect themselves instantly.
1. RESPECT AND SAFETY
- No Bullying or Harassment: Do not target individuals with hateful comments, threats, intimidation, or defamatory language.
- No Hate Speech: We do not tolerate discrimination or attacks against individuals or groups based on their race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, or disability.
- No Impersonation: Do not pretend to be someone else or create fake profiles to deceive members of the community.
2. CONTENT STANDARDS
- Text-Based Expression: Sanjal allows you to express yourself using text and background themes. Please ensure your words do not incite violence, scams, or illegal activities.
- Respect Privacy Boundaries: Do not tag or mention other users in your posts unless they have allowed it in their personal privacy settings. Respect other users’ preferences regarding direct messaging.
3. USER MODERATION TOOLS (UGC POLICY)
Sanjal actively provides immediate safety tools to empower our users:
- Report Button: If you encounter any post that violates these community rules, tap the Report feature instantly.
- Block System: You can block any user at any moment to stop them from messaging you or interacting with your profile.
- Chat Management: Users can freely clear chat histories or block users directly inside the messaging panel.
4. ADMIN REVIEW AND CONSEQUENCES
Our moderation team reviews reported content consistently. Violating these guidelines will result in prompt enforcement actions by the Admin, including:
- Issuing an official warning to the account.
- Immediate deletion of the offending post.
- Temporary account suspension (or immediate suspension if a user reports their account was compromised/hacked).
- Permanent account termination for severe or repeated violations.
